Ugh this has so happened to me.... Had a t shirt over my bathing suit. I knew my white ass would burn in the california sun (being from Oregon and all)... but I burnt straight through my shirt...

So have I OP. Except for me it was every 90 minutes using 100+ SPF sun block, and wearing a hat and shirt. Still get burned... every summer.

The OP clearly knew that UV rays can go through clothes if he/she was wearing sunscreen with clothes on. It's not their fault they have REALLY sensitive skin.
