Word, don't be ******* dumb, who cares how fast you were going, as long as you're careful about it. I think speed limits can be extremely ridiculous. I'm completely in control of the car at 70-80 mph so telling me that I have to do 55 on a ******* highway is like pulling teeth. However, if you drive like an asshole like the OP, you would deserve getting in trouble with the cops. Work on your cop-radar dude, learn where they patrol and stop to hide.

#12 that's hilarious... But I'll pass cops any day going up to 10 over. I've never gotten a ticket for less than 15 over and don't expect I ever will.

@ yay for cannibalism: I've heard of cops doing that too. One of my friends ended up behind a cop going 10 under the limit and no one else was passing him. My friend passed going the exact speed limit and got pulled over. Apparently, the cop was just running some sort of asshole social experiement because he didn't even try to write a ticket. He just made the stop because he wanted to ask what went though people's heads when they passed cops on the road. Somehow I have a feeling he could have found something better to do with his time... his salary is paid for by taxpayers and he spent his day harassing law abiding citizens. Wow.

haha 12, that happens over here all the time, all it takes is that one guy with balls to pass him, and then the whole group does, otherwise, your stuck behind a bunch of people scared to go the speed limit cuz a cop ain't.

Oi, I hate when that happens. Cops like to tail-gate and state troopers are the worst. I was driving home last night and had one riding up my ass but couldn't change lanes because some asshole was riding in my blind spot. When I finally got over and the trooper flew by me at about 85MPH. It took me a while to realize there was a trooper behind me too.

ok; well. where I am from, it is illegal for cops to do that, and then pull you over. Basically it is 'inticing', so if you get pulled over and ticketed, you can fight the ticket, and win. Its hard to deny the tailgating when they pull the film from the dashboard cameras.

Also, I'm curious to know what the speed limit was. YDI for speeding. FYL for getting pulled over by a trooper. Also, the OP said he/she was driving late at night. It's hard to see the lights on a cops car late at night when they're behind you unless they're on. Though usually you can kind of tell by the kind of car it is and the headlights. :/
