My husband has a Honda Shadow(cruiser). His bike is ******* beautiful and riders like a dream. Don't get caught up in the 'only Harley's are worth owning' because it sounds like their brainwashing ad. I will say that many Harley-Davidson never lose their value and that's their bonus but there are many nice motorcycles (depending on what you get) out there. Don't limit yourself.

There's a difference between "bike" and "motorcycle" and it's something called quality. Hondas are not even in the same category as Harley. I've seen plenty of Hondas and they don't come close to the classiness of Harley.

A Harley is only good if you know how to work on it. Its no secret that they are not mechanically sound and are a black hole on your wallet. While they have their appeal, there are plenty of cruisers that look just as nice, drive just as well, but also cost less and last longer. Yamaha, for example.

I hear what you're saying. (: And I don't disagree about Harley's "classiness" because like I stated, many don't lose their value for that very reason. Harley's are indeed made well. I just disagree that Hondas suck. They've come along way. >.
