Today, after having worked two jobs for months to save up for a big vacation, I came home to find my hard-earned money replaced by my boyfriend's brand new motorcycle. FML

Why do you have a joint account with a guy that is just your boyfriend? What a dumb bitch!

it could have been cash she was hiding and didn't know he knew where it was

Easy pea-z, return the motorcycle n dump the inconsiderate ass hole. It's much more fun to go with another single friend n hoe it out on vacation.

thats why you don't let anyone have access to your money. YDI

well tell ur bf to take the bike back && get ur money back so that u can go on ur vacation.

he's a gold digger dump him and then sale it to get your money back

Your boyfriend is a thief. I would dump him. STILL, I feel obliged to point out that a vacation lasts a week, and a motorcycle lasts 10+ years. Sounds like he's better with money. He just needs to make his own. And find a new girlfriend after you've dumped him. Oh, and keep the motorcycle.

just because a motorcycle lasts longer physically doesn't meant the mental effects of a great relaxing vacation are less valuable or a waste of money. the stress relief could be worth far more than the cost of the vacation or the longevity of the bike

While I agree with you because I think the same way, people do choose to spend their money differently. Some save for the big yearly vacation and receive fond memories that way. Others may invest in expensive toys they can enjoy every week. I've spent over $100K on my toys but haven't taken a long vacation somewhere in over 8 years. My various gas powered toys provide me thrills every weekend versus the 1-2 weeks of fun I'd have if I just saved up to go somewhere.

He didn't save that money, SHE did.

It's been mentioned already, but I would NEVER share a bank account with someone I'm not married to. EVER. Even if you are married, it's still a huge risk. It makes things a whole lot more messy if things don't work out. You reap what you sew.

YEAH! when my parents were married my dad stole 172,000 and sold it. Also it was my mom's stock she had been saving for 17 years and right now would be worth 300,000 dollars but my dad sold it all
