Today, after my shower, I went to clear off my fogged-up mirror. Doing so, I noticed a handprint on it. I compared it to my hand, but it was much too small. I live alone. FML

It could have been there from another time people visited. If someone's hand left grease or dirt on the mirror then its much harder for condensation to form on it, hence, the print. I doubt that you're being haunted OP.

You live alone maybe. But what about guests, previous owner, workmen... A handprint will stay even after a wipe down, depends how oily the hand was and how brutal you are with cleaning. Drawing on windows as a kid I recall often seeing the marks even after they had been "cleaned".
