Today, after returning to work from a week-long sickness, I sent out an apologetic email to all of my clients to explain my lack of communication due to absence. I realised afterwards I had put the subject line as 'Absense'. And sent it to all of my clients. FML

It's ok, they will know it was just a typo.

At least you didn't leave the 'f' out of the word shift like I did in an email to my division manager. Oddly enough, the context and point of the message was unchanged.

I really don't think this is an FML moment? Anyone can see it's a typo, especially if you apologised for your absence in the email and spelt it correctly

I'm so bad at spelling I honestly didn't notice your mistake

It's not that big of a deal, OP. You missed one letter.

I don't understand why one letter means your life is ******. Does Absense mean something I don't know?

It doesn't mean anything bad unless it's British slang or something, just a typo
