okay... #94 I REALLy wanted to give twilight a chance. Like seriously, I'm the first person to jump on board when it comes to addictive book series! But bad writing is bad writing, all 4 books seems like one giant run-on sentence with unnecessary details (fillers), and juvenile language, a pathetic story line! (In case you haven't read it I'll save you the trouble: everyone lives happily ever after and ALL the conflicts of the entire story are solved with the invention of one character in like the last friggin' chapter!!! Really? how simple can you get?!) #104 I love you! I have noticed that majority of Twilighters I've encountered aren't avid readers, these are typically the largest/most "advanced" books they've read... while I realize there are exceptions to this assumption, it is a pretty consistent observation of mine. #227 you should be shot for even THINKING that Stephanie Meyers is "Brilliant". #309 thank you for having some sense! It's funny that you have to pick a side: HP or Twilight. I wouldn't be so anti-Twilight if this fact weren't so! (that wouldn't stop be from hating the series, I just wouldn't feel the need to be so vocal about it- don't get it twisted!) It's ALSO funny that everyone on the HP side has read ALL of both series (like myself). When I ask an HP haters and die hard twilight fan how much they've read of Harry Potter the answer? none! Let's read before we judge! thats what I did, and it definitely didn't stop me from coming to the same conclusion.
What's with girls and Twilight?!?!?!?!
I read all four books, just to shut up any of the rabid fans who attacked me for being a 'jackass who would never read the books'. Every single plot twist, (of what plot, I cannot see), every single character, all of it was bullshit convenience. I could sit here for hours analysing and providing details as to exactly why it was horrible, and why Stephanie Meyer is a hack piece of garbage, but Twilighters don't want cold hard facts thrown in their faces. They want sparkly fangs thrown in their necks. Every single person who actually enjoys Twilight loses all credibility, even in saying 'oh I love it, but I could never be that stupid'. How much of a contradictory statement is that? Useless.
i think twilight is really getting to some people a little bit too much
Ugh. Ignorance is tiring. While it is possible Twilight COULD have been an influence, there are OTHER vampire stories out there; Dracula, Interview With a Vampire, True Blood, Cirque Du Freak, and countless romance novels. And not to mention all the movies and tv shows that had a vampire love interest (Dark Shadows, Moonlight, Blood Ties, to name a few). And certain women have long been seduced by the idea of vampires way before Twilight came out. All the OP said was that the girl told him "I wish you were a vampire" not "I wish you were Edward," or any other character from the Twilight series. So all the idiots going on about "ZOMG Twilight totally messed her up" you don't even know if she reads the series. She might, or she could just be into vampires period. Idiots. Either way though, I do agree that she has some issues.
btw, #442, you really don't think there are Star Wars and Harry Potter fans that have attempted to live the fantasy? Seriously? I can recall seeing many Harry Potter fans actually trying to practice magic or trying to find a werewolf to hook up with because they had a crush on Lupin. >_>
Assuming that she is referring to Edward Cullen because most girls these days do read the series. Honestly, there's Twilighters who are obsessive about the storyline and the amazing novels themselves...Then there are people like this, who believe vampires are real and Edward watches them sleep at night. Sorry dude. FYL.

Sounds like another retarded Twilight fan. Find someone who doesn't dwell on the fantasy world.
And Twilight screws over another poor guy. Ok-- I am a Twilight fan, they are wretchedly cheesy teen romance novels, but still I am a fan. On that note; Twilighters, those stupid, obsessive, moronic little fangirls who want every guy to be like Edward should be shot in the face. Sorry dude, that really blows.
