Today, after spending thousands of dollars and several years pursuing a higher education so I could get a high paying job doing something that requires skill and brainpower, I finally got my first job offer after months of searching. I will be cleaning houses. FML

Today, I happily went to an interview after job searching for months. I learned a large part of my job would be cleaning the toilets. Every. Single. Hour. I used to lecture at a university until budget cuts happened. FML

Today, after a year of unemployment due to my industry shutdown, I finally got a job offer. It involves overseas travel. After being cooped up a year, I'm thrilled! My boyfriend's mother is willing to pay my rent and bills for me to stay home. FML

Today, after spending 8 months and $11,000 on school, I was denied a job in my chosen career field. They told me they decided to go with someone with more experience. So who got the job? One of my classmates. This is her first job. EVER. FML

Higher education makes me laugh im 18 my friends are in uni and im earning 1 k a year away from the amount they have to to pay their tuition

My mom owns a cleaning business and makes six figures a year. It isn't as easy as you make it seem. She's a business owner and there's a lot of smarts and brain power needed. Maybe you should consider starting one yourself instead of being a no brain required employee Cuz we make bank every year
