Hey, Im the OP. It is extremely important that you take the pills in order and you CANNOT skip a pill! If you do your hormones can get all wacky and if youre sexually active, you can get pregnant. You only have a set amount of pills in the pack and they dont give any extras.

that's okay even the pill doesnt want to be inside you.
You just take the next day's pill. They are the same thing until you take the sugar pill which you don't even need to take. And then you run out a day early so grab your next prescription early.
Not all pills are like that. Some have different amounts of hormones in each pill so it's important that they're taken in the right order.
OKAY, so everyone who is saying that you can't just take the next one because you will get pregnant...Get real. You're not skipping one. Personally, I will just start my period a day earlier.
based on the variety of advice given in the comments, I can see that many are not educated on how birth control works.
There is nothing wrong with going to the next pill if you throw it up. The only difference is the sugar pills at the end. All will happen is your period might be a day sooner, if your body even registers the difference at that point. But to the person saying she always throws up her pills and still has sex, should see her doctor. That shouldn't happen. And always use back up protection, people.
For some birth control pills, each pill has certain/different amounts/levels of hormones if you take them out of order they can severely mess with your hormone levels as well as your cycle. As you get closer to the end of the pack the pills are suppose to spike certain hormones (LH and FSH) within your body causing the start of your period. But does this mean that I would search through my puke to get my pill? Probably not. Just have an off cycle for a month and start a new pack as cycle finishes.
Just take the next day's and continue from there. Your cycle won't be messed up for being just one pill day short.
Incorrect. Many types of birth control pills will mess up your hormones if you miss a pill.

Maybe it's a sign...
First thought that came to mind....maybe you ARE pregnant?? Birth control pills never made me puke before or possibly you are allergic to that kind??

As a male, I can't claim I know a whole lot about birth control pills... but is it really that detrimental to the cycle to just grab a new pill?
You didn't think to maybe take the next pill in the pack instead?
