I wouldn't hold my breath for next year. They saw how much you really wanted this job (three months to follow up), and they'll want someone a little more ambitious. Look elsewhere and try to pretend to want the job!

Well first off, I wouldn't wait three months for a follow up. I ussually wait about a week. But if they are so un-organized that they can't give you the correct email address then consider another company, they probably aren't great.
OP didn't say it was a wrong email address. The company had just stopped reading the emails. That could be they stopped reading once the position was filled.
#20, the fact that they don't check that email anymore clearly means they aren't using it. Ergo, it's the wrong email.

Wow, if they didn't bother to check it when they still had the job application thing up with the same e-mail, that was their fault. Dozens of applications could've been lost because of this. But hey, if you don't find another job by then, you can work with them!
