Today, and since forever, I hate vegetables. I’ve been in Argentina for a few days for a one year exchange and I’ve been placed into a vegetarian family. FML

How does one "hate vegetables" though? I mean, I get that you might not like certain vegetables, but there's so many vegetables and so many ways of cooking them that I can hardly imagine you wouldn't be able to find some that you like. Not eating any vegetables is quite unhealthy, so maybe instead of complaining about this, you should take it as an opportunity to become a less picky eater. You can always go to a restaurant if you feel like you need meat from time to time.

On the bright side, this may lead you to find a vegetable that you do like, not everything is just uncooked greens.

"Today, and since forever, I hate vegetables." How old are you, five? Grow the hell up.

Ask them if they can accomadate your normal diet. If they can't, just bear through it when you must and go to a restaurant when possible to eat good food. By the end of it, you'll probably learn to like vegetables.

I honestly doubt that you hate every single vegetables out there. perhaps you weren't exposed to healthy food at home or perhaps you don't know how to cook? look up recipes online and try it. you never know unless you try and might surprise yourself and like it. Also you could talk to them and tell them you are not a vegetarian so maybe buy meat and add it in with your meals. sounds like a really great opportunity to do an exchange program in Argentina. have a great time. :)

Your life is amazing. You've got an opportunity of a life time in an interesting country, where you get to expand your horizons and learn about a completely different lifestyle.

That's bloody horrible and would be a nightmare. Make sure you get your meats, be damned what shitty diet they subscribe to. Though if they're decent they won't try to force their diet on you and will allow you to eat meat whenever and where ever.

now's your chance to get to the root of the problem/ put some new roots down/ root out the bad habit. Have some carrots, potatoes, beans... maybe all three... in a burrito...

do you like fries? boom. tuber/vegetable.

What are you, a child? This family has welcomed you into their home and given you the chance to immerse yourself into another country's culture. Grow the F up and eat your vegetables!
