Today, as a frog biologist I was out in the field searching for a relatively rare frog species. After three hours I finally heard the frog call and I crept closer and closer to the sound until... squish... I stepped on the very frog I was trying to collect. They're endangered. FML

Maybe they're endangered because they're too dumb to move?

Take its DNA and clone the hell out of the poor bastard. ;)

agreed, it's fake. a frog has much sharper senses than that, you can't just step on one. It will see you before you see it.

U know they can track u now? I would get rid of ur computer before they can trace it back to u.

Seeing how you spell, it's amazing you know what a computer is. Obviously you still haven't gone around all the keys on your keyboard. Hint: Y and O are on the first row of letters. Now, for your knowledge, any governmental agency that can find the identity of OP has more important things to do than fining people for stepping on a frog, even an endangered specie. Not to mention that the fact that OP posted this here does not prove it really happened. His lawyer would just have to tell the court that he made up the whole story, and nobody would ever be able to prove anything. So if the US government is going to spend money to track this guy down on the grounds that he claimed on an entertainment website that he accidentally killed a frog, that country is really messed up.

I hope it wasn't a Golden Toad in Costa Rica. . .

frogs are pretty trusting though. well, toads, anyway. you have to touch em almost to get them to move.

I can't believe it took 36 people to say that. WIN

okay 36 made me laugh xD and if this is your job, shouldn't you be like.... good at it? :P what were you expecting, the frog to be floating in the air in front of you? always watch your feet when looking for something on the ground...

lols thats why it's says herpes in the beginning of herpetologist

Well the dumbass should've moved. Natures way of eliminating the "low hanging fruit". Do endangered frogs taste like chicken?
