Today, as a prank, my friends put a big bucket of water on my door so that it would spill on me as I exited my room. It would have been funny if I hadn't been holding my $900 laptop as I was walking out. FML

Today, I got up early to prank my family. I put a bucket of ice water on top of a door frame so whoever walked through would get an icy surprise. After I was done, I went back to bed. I woke up groggy and disoriented like always and walked right through the doorway I had rigged. FML

Today, I tried to pull the old "bucket of water above the door" prank on my brother, but the bucket didn't fall when he opened the door. He noticed it, took it down, then pinned me to the floor and waterboarded me with the ice-cold water. FML

Today, was my birthday. My friends love to play pranks on me, so when I entered the door for my surprise party, I became aware of the surroundings. There was nothing. Everyone was staring as I slowly entered the room. When I closed the door behind me, a freaking bucket of pee fell all over me. FML

Today, my friends decided it would be funny to scare me by tilting the portable street toilets while I was taking a dump in one of them. One of my friends accidentally rocked it too hard and it fell on the floor. They wouldn't even let me sit in the car after because I had shit all over me. FML

Today, my brother "pranked" me by dropping my new laptop out my bedroom window. He'd set up a saran wrap safety net below to catch my laptop safely, but he didn't secure it well enough. My laptop is completely fucked and he won't accept responsibility because he didn't mean to break it. FML

To all the idiots who don't get why he was carrying a laptop, he was carrying his laptop out, probably open, to do something that involved his laptop. I do that all the time. What I don't get is how could you not hear them putting the bucket on the door? You obviously had been inside the room when they did that prank because if you were outside you would have seen the bucket on the door. Doesn't make sense.

This is your own fault. You choose your own friends. If you choose friends who are going to do something like this, you only have yourself to blame. I'm pretty sure you weren't holding it out in front of you for all the water to pour on your laptop because that would be stupid. so assuming you were carrying it on your side (like a normal person would) then there wouldn't be too much water that splashed for it to break. but, if you were holding it with one hand and typing with the other while walking, then I agree, FYL.
