Today, as I couldn't get the airplane seat buckle to buckle, I faced the fact that I've been in denial about how fat I have become. The people in my row faced it too as I began to sob uncontrollably. FML

Obesity is one of the few deadly diseases that has a cure. I feel sorry for the embarrassment you must have gone through on the plane, but if you're that big, you really need to control your health. It's ridiculous when people let themselves get this overweight due to laziness. Talk to a doctor.

There are a lot of factors, including emotional, that could lead to weight gain. It's very one-dimensional to assume that weight gain is due only to laziness.

I feel ya. It's easy to overlook, get caught up in your life, and justify/or ignore your actions. That is until straight physical fact (like the belt) comes and smacks you in the face. The beauty of this shitty, shitty situation is that you can change it. I let that happen to me over the last couple years and I am just now doing stuff about it. Just be a little more conscious of what you and, and more importantly the proportions of it. Take time to savor food. And just do ten minutes of work out/activity a day. The move it up after a couple of weeks. You don't need a big mountain of success in a week, it won't happen. It's gonna happen by sticking to at least ten minutes of workout a day (at least four days a week) and being conscious. When you're comfortable with that, challenge yourself with more but keep up your basics always. I've got faith in you. My best friend of over four hundred pounds is kicking ass at it right now so I know you can. Take the stairs, park a little farther, cook meals....you got this shit. The best of luck sweetheart. Know this, you're in control of your fate. YOU.
