Just because someone might have a weight problem doesn't meen you should be rude. (BTW idc what you comment on this you still shouldn't be rude)
today is the first day of the rest of your life. you made a solid realization, now do something so you never feel that way again.
I feel worse for the person (or people) sitting right beside you. They didn't get a full seat cause you probably took up yours and half of theirs. I *hate* airplanes for that reason. I paid for a cramped enough seat as it is, and then a whale sits next to me, and his/her fat rolls over and takes up half of my already small space. Its gross. Yeah it sucks that you got fat. However, you LET yourself get that way. Suck it up, get blood work done (just in case you are part of the 10% of fat people who have a genetic or blood disorder), if the blood work isn't clear then get meds. Either way, start exercising and make changes to your diet. No more fast food, less meats, more veggies and fruits. You can CHANGE your weight, but it will be a challenge.
You don't need to starve yourself. That's not good dieting anyway. Start your workouts at a level you can handle, such as walks around the block every day. Gradually build your workouts up to longer distances and faster walking until you can run. It will take TIME, but you don't want to hurt yourself.
