Dear OP: You do not need to shave if that isn't your inclination. However, it's not a bad idea to keep the hedges trimmed! Maybe you prefer the wild & free bush look, but it's not going to be as clean as it could be if you kept it shorter/borders maintained, etc., especially if you're running! I'm also wondering why your shorts were THAT short. And why would you mistake slapping your own ass (trashy move!) as flirtation. Fail on the classiness, dear.
