Unless a bad event follows, it's not really, eh, "right" to put in "Luckily..." in an FML here... So how does this count? If the point is that she thinks you're in middle school... Then... She thinks you look young? ...Too young...
I think its called sarcasm, but I'm not too sure.
Uhm, I think the FML is for getting lectured, AND being mistaken for a middle-schooler at the same time..?
haha, that type of stuff happens to me all of the time. I'm 23 and look 16. Get over it. Your life is not ****** for looking young.
I'm 14 and people think I'm 18 all the time. So many people ask me what college I'm going to, etc...
It's still really annoying. I'm 20 and people are constantly mistaking me for a 16 year old. It gets frustrating when people always ID you when you try to see an R-rated movie, or when cops stop you because they think you're violating curfew, or when you constantly get asked out by 16 year old guys, or when people keep asking you if you've lost your high school tour group on your college campus. I'm sure in about 10 years I'm going to be glad that I look younger than I am, but for now, it's an inconvenience.
You're gonna be wishing you still looked young later in life.
There's looking young, then looking like a 12/13/14/15 year old... o-o
I'm glad you're getting your lessons in double standards and hypocrisy! I'll bet you smugly chew gum in class (and didn't bring enough for everyone!)
Ummm, teacher *sniffle*, umm, she took my toy *hiccup* and um, she won't give it back or umm, share it with me. *sob*
How is this an FML? Unless you're very easily offended when people mistake your age, this seems like it would it would fit better on MILA. Better yet, how'd this pass?
Well, a 6th grader wrote it, that explains a lot...
Puberty has to be right around the corner for you. Don't worry.
The rules still apply to you moron. Your certainly won't be a good teacher if you try to enforce rules that you yourself won't follow.
no kidding. the whole point of taking education and doing the student teaching is kind of for nothing if you're not even going to ******* pay attention.
I know how you feel. I worked as a TA at my former HS for 4 months last fall and got escorted to the front desk for suspiciously walking around. I'm 23, had a scheduled appointment and they didn't believe that i wasn't a student.
I'm going into teaching and had observation hours to do as well. Maybe you should keep it professional and leave your cell phone out of site.
Maybe you should learn about homophones before trying to teach other people's children.
... that is not the comment I replied to. Yes it is... they keep moving.
