Um, why in the hell were you on your cell phone while doing student observation? How unprofessional can you be? School rules don't only apply to students, you know. If you have any hope of becoming a teacher, try to grow a brain, act professionally, set a good example, and follow the freaking rules. If a student teacher or student observer ever pulled something like that in MY classroom, I would certainly include it in my evaluation of them.

That sorta happend with my sister and I. she had come by my school a good few years back to give me my lunch, but she came really late because she got caught up with something, and so we ended up having lunch together (while classes had already started) one of the teachers then came out and yelled at both of us for not being in class, my sister is 14 years older than i am, so the teacher was def embarassed once she realized that that was my sister, and that she was much too old to attend the school.

NotInMiddleSchool how is this a FML? She thinks your young. You should take that as a compliment. Knowing how you girls are with age, you should be happy they think your young. Or would you rather have the teacher think your old and take you for one of the child's great grandmother? :P

I just did a student teaching prac and so many times, teachers or helping parents would say 'oh! I thought you were one of the students!' even though I was not in school uniform colours at all...
