now the real question is how did your dad react? Did it happen in some nutty 3-way thing, or are do your parents have an open relationship? I can understand that this would definitely be really hard to take in, but hey, you've got a new brother!

Is that your dad's middle name? Or maybe your mom or dad's father's name and she miss spoke?

My youngest brother's middle name is my dad's first name. It's not exactly the same thing but I don't see why it isn't possible that the son's first name is the father's first name.
