Today, at age eighteen, I finished moving out of my parents' house and into my own. The only person to even remotely give a shit was my sister, and that was only because I was taking the cat with me. FML

Am I the only one who thinks the op was probably a horrible child and sibling? Sorry if I'm wrong and if I am his family sucks but I have to imagine if he was a good kid who cared about is family, they would care that the op is leaving.

I know how that feels, OP, but...I moved out shortly after I turned 17 because my mom is a drug addict and my dad lives in another state with my twin brother. I am starting my second year of college and I pay for everything I own and operate. I was living alone until recently. So...it could be worse.
