Today, at my job as a fast food manager, I saw one of my employees "trying to pick the bugs out" of our cookies. They were the raisins in them. FML

First encounter with an employee that's tripping balls on the job?? Don't worry. You'll probably see more.

That. Seriously, no way they weren't on something.

Fml to the kid who can't differentiate the two lol

So if there were "bugs" in there, then he'd just pick it out and then eat it? Seems logical.

I'm wondering why the employee, thinking there were bugs in it, thought that the appropriate course of action was to pluck them out. I don't know how that makes me feel as a possible customer.. D:

Hope you're paying him $15/hour... <grin>

I used to work at auntie Annes pretzels. my cousin used ti kill flies and add them to the raisin dough and would then sell them and watch the customers eats them. :-/

Has anyone thought that maybe the employee has poor eyesight? Cause I don't think cookies normally have bugs in them.

I worked at McDonald's last year and we didn't have raisin cookies? Only chocolate chip.

Well you don't hire them for their brains

Ah, yes, the dreaded fast food employee. I worked in fast food for a few years, and I know exactly what you are dealing with. Of course, you can have these people working practically anywhere, but you can get some special ones in fast food. I remember one time a girl I worked with called the dehydrated onions (dehydes, as we called them) bee hides. She couldn't understand what was so funny every time she said it.
