Today, at the gym, I realized the guy who has been staring at me for the past 3 days is the same guy I promised to text back 5 months ago. FML

You obviously deserve it for not texting him back.

Play it off. Pretend to recognize him and be like "why haven't you answered my text messages??" And just act like he hasn't been receiving them.

If you're not interested in someone, be mature and be honest. They might not like it but they will at least still have respect for you. Poor guy was probably looking forward to hearing from you.

He's a creeper, it's a good thing you didn't text back.

Why are people saying txt him back he is obviously a stalker he should learn how to get over stuff and op SWITCH GYMS ! before you get a stalker

Actually, him having the same gym membership as her does not make her a stalker. Nor does him angrily staring down the face of a liar, make him a stalker. Just because she lied to him and wasn't interested, does not automatically make him "below" her, or less deserving of a gym membership as her. He has just as much of a right to be at a public location gym as she does. Besides, most men tend to take gym time more seriously than most women anyway (obviously exceptions occur). But it's totally unfair to expect that HE should have to somehow switch gyms, just because SHE was a liar and didn't like him. This isn't a lifetime movie, he didn't stalk her and find out what gym she went to. Chances are he already had a membership or got one without knowing she went there. Id also like to point out how women rationalize lying to a guy and not texting him. If the guy ever calls her out on her rude anti social lying behavior, she can simply seem him "a creeper" or "a stalker" and then she can internally justify her bad behavior and continue it later. I strongly loathe this technique employed by women. Lying is wrong, deception is wrong, and breaking promises is wrong. I don't care if the guy is sadden Hussein himself. Don't promise something and then break it unless he literally threatened you.

I don't understand why people are criticizing the OP so harshly for not texting the guy back. No, it wasn't right to lie, but sometimes you just have to. Only the OP knows the whole situation. If she never texted him there was probably a good reason! There have been times where people are so nauseatingly persistent, the only way you can escape is to lie. Everyone's done it atleast once.

Poor fella...he's probably trying to see if you recognize him. Then again he could just talk to you about it instead of being creepy.

To quote Riley from the Boondocks, "You's a bitch".

He's plotting his ultimate revenge. Soon there will be a book about it. Next a movie.
