Today, at work, a lady approached me asking if I'd found a used cloth diaper on a table, and I told her it was probably in the trash. She said "That's okay, I can wash it." So I searched through several bags of trash, and when I couldn't find it, she said "Oh never mind! It's in my bag." FML

Ew I would have told her to just get a new one.

Look on the bright side -- you didn't end up finding a used cloth diaper when you were looking through a bunch of trash.

You are allowed to refuse certain tasks at work and that would definitely be one of them. It's a health and safety concern. You should say sorry miss it was probably disposed of. If she asks something like that of you say sorry it's against store policy to do such a thing, and I could get written up for it. Sometimes white lies are good lies :) fyl!

They have diapers that are like underwear? Well so it seem...well if that comes up again check the bag first...not the trash

No they're not like underwear... (Remind me how underwear holds pee and poo? Lol) They are made like diapers, only they are washed between uses... Chemical free and better for the environment..

Cloth diapers are meant to be re-usable...although that is pretty gross anyway. :/

WTF? You went digging for a used diaper that might have been left lying around? Its disgusting that she might have left it lying around, and stupid of you to go digging. Consideration for other stops with excrement.

Hahaha I cloth diaper my daughter. In her defense they can be expensive so I see why she was asking that of you, but I have no freakin idea why she wouldn't check her bag FIRST!

gotta give ya props for that one op! u are a better person than I am! I would have let her dig through the trash herself!!

Why did you have to search through the trash? Why didn't you tell her to do it. I think you took the idea of good customer service a little too far.
