I'm so very sorry you had to go through that :( Something similar happened to me about six months ago, where a gentlemen looked so uncannily like my late grandfather, even dressing the same, that I had to go into the back room so I wouldn't cry in front of customers.
Hang in there, it'll be okay :) I'm sorry for your loss!
I just want to hug you so much right now.
That sounds like it must have been really painful and I'm sorry you had to go through that. It's a shame that you were able to take the day off to recover and compose yourself. Sometimes your brain seems to forget that someone you love has died, usually shortly after their death and then you remember that they died so it's like going through the grieving process all over again. I know it's not the same but even though my grandma died many years I still have dreams about her. It's like my subconscious still thinks she's alive or wishes she was alive.

I'm extremely sorry for your loss. If anything similar happens again try to see if your boss will let you go home?
Hang in there OP. I know how hard it is I have lost all 4 of my grandparents and although you will always miss your grandmother I guarantee it will get better with time
