Today, during my dinner break, I was forced to listen to a coworker talk about how he dumped his needy ex for another woman. I'm the ex. We kept our relationship secret from our coworkers. I guess now I know why he dumped me. FML

Secret relationships never work out , sorry to hear. You will find someone better

#15 don't think he quite deserves that. Maybe OP really was overly needy? Maybe he was socially 'forced' to say why he left his ex? And overall, I think OP is better off knowing what she did wrong. It means she can work on it. To everyone else: has the FML been rewritten? I found it fairly easy to follow.

At least it was a secret and your coworkers don't know you as "the needy ex" sorry OP :(

How insensitive. You're better off without. Just next time, tell your coworkers about how small your ex was within earshot of him

OP was going out with that guys but since nobody at work knew about it, nobody knows it's OP he's talking about. What a douchebag!!! I mean, maybe OP was needy and stuff, but he doesn't have to be a dick and talk about it in front of her.

not really, she was the needy one

Now, you can say what a douche-wad your ex is on your next break together. Paybacks a bitch.

Not to be a jerk but if you had to keep a relationship secret to begin with then it was not a relationship. Sadly you were just being used!

Women of America, stop dating douchebags, then you would have nothing to complain about or be hurt over. This has been a public service announcement.

If he's so insensitive that he would have that conversation while you were in the room, you might not really have been the problem.
