Today, during my fourth solo day working as a meter-maid, I had a vehicle towed for being parked in front of a fire hydrant. The vehicle belonged to the governor. I'm scared to even show my face at work next week. FML

It's tough to make calls like that! You made the right choise though because if they make a law for you to inforse it applys to them to! They aren't just ammune to everything because they have some power!

A law broken is a law broken. Governor or not.

Let the governor sort it out with the impound lot.

Why are you scared? He isn't above the law and should know better. If he gets pissed or fires you, then he's a dick.

Why wouldn't you have it towed? What do you think the governor is better than anyone else, and above the law? The city (AKA taxpayers) will probably pay for it anyway, in our corrupt, political system.

No one is above the law. You did your job.

You did the right thing. Equal treatment for all. If there had been a fire the car would still have been in the way, so bravo! You did your job correctly, with the proverbial judicial blindfold.

Don't be ashamed, you were just doing your job. Even the governor has to obey the law. He should be glad there are people who take their job seriously.

You did your job, it doesn't matter who the car belongs to, if it's parked illegally then oh well. The governor may think he's above the law, screw him you showed him he's not.

If it was Mitch Daniels I'd give you a high five! Stupid idiot he is
