Today, during my fourth solo day working as a meter-maid, I had a vehicle towed for being parked in front of a fire hydrant. The vehicle belonged to the governor. I'm scared to even show my face at work next week. FML

It's tough to make calls like that! You made the right choise though because if they make a law for you to inforse it applys to them to! They aren't just ammune to everything because they have some power!

A law broken is a law broken. Governor or not.

If he is at all a good governor he will respect you for upholding your towns laws. The good news is you will find out what kind of person he is!

Agreed with 18. Just case he is the governor, does not mean he can park in front of fire hydrates, which are needed for everyone's safety.... Or anything of the like

If anything happens, feel free to sue to your heart's content. You were doing your job, and the governor should know better for parking like that. Think positive :-)

F*ck the governor! Shouldn't he be representing following laws?

Good for you! Stick it to the man! I once had to go to driving class as result of a speeding ticket. It was taught by the sheriff of the next county, who also received a moving violation. This was his punishment. He cut the class short by more than half. =)

So, if there had been a fire, I suppose his magical governor-mobile would have just levitated itself out of the way for the firetruck?

It's still a safety hazard, even if it is the governor

that's no excuse for him to park there.
