"Find my phone" app.
How can she download an app if she doesn't have her phone?
You do it prior. Have you not heard of the app?
Most thieves these days are smart enough to turn off the phone right when they get ahold of it. Happened to my old iphone
#27 Not if your phone is lock.
You can still turn off the phone when it is locked.
Welcome to the wonderful world of teaching, my first day I was told to go **** myself.
Wow! It sounds like you'll never have a dull day.
I'm very sorry to hear that. I've loss of respect for teachers, but unfortunately most kids do not.. When i grew up in Russia, I was raised with a healthy fear and respect of authority, buy when my family came to the US, I was shocked that kids here spit all over their education and their educators too (sometimes literally). And the school system has severely limited ways of enforcing a teacher's authority in a classroom, virtually taking away any chance of controlling kid's behavior and protecting oneself from a group that doesn't yet really understand what's right and wrong. So for what its worth, I apologize for all of us kids and I hope you keep faith in humanity and be the best teacher you can be under circumstances.
#25--never dull indeed, #38--THANK YOU.
Most teens have it on vibrate...and most adults don't so unless he or she turned down the volume or something in that essence it's easy to find...
18 - I'm curious where you came up with such a generalization? I teach high school and had to constantly remind students to put their phones on silent/vibrate. All the adults I know keep their phones on silent/vibrate because a)it's polite, b)it's more professional (not disturbing others in public/work) and c) they have to silence them so often for meetings, etc. they just don't other to turn the volume back on.
lost your phone app!
I hope it gets returned one way or another OP, it really sucks to have a first day and impression like this!
call it :-)
you're going to be famous......
There are many ways to recover last or stolen phones, even if you didn't install an app before hand. I recently read an article talking about all the ways. it was posted on Lifehacker a few days ago.
Well hopefully whoever it is decides to be responsible and come forward, though if he/she was willing to steal from a teacher in the first place it doesn't sound like they have morals or manners unfortunately. GL finding the student who did it.
