Allo Trollsters. This is the silly girl who posted the FML. A few disclaimers: 1) Rent is cheaper here than you are thinking. My last place here ran under $500, utilities included. If we split the cost, we aren't looking at massive expenses. 2) He is 25 years old, he lives at his parents' for free, he has a job AND THEY GIVE HIM AN ALLOWANCE. Oh, yeah, and they pay his bills for him. 3) Yes, he acquired all the nerf guns at once, within the past week. 4) I don't have a problem with his hobby. Boys will be boys, and I kinda have a thing for nerds. I do, however, have a problem with the fact that he has lied to me for the past 6 months about his future aspirations... Because I have been busting ass, nose-to-the-grindstone, working towards getting my debts paid off so we could get this place together. Aaaaand, apparently toys are more important.

You picked your boyfriend. Complaining about him is not going to change him. If his personality and maturity level bother you then dump him and go on with your life. Otherwise, stop complaining about it as your boyfriend is your own choice.
The most expensive Nerf gun is $50. If he has a large assortment, that probably cost a maximum of $250-$300. I'll wager it was accumulated over a large period of time. On the other hand, even cheap apartments cost several hundred dollars a month, in addition to other expenses such as utilities, food, and furniture. If you two were to pool the costs and live like misers, that would still come out to thousands of dollars a year.
Woman, let your man have his fun!
lol let's think nerf or somewere to live hahaha he's got bettr things to do lol
You both need to grow up before you take on an adult relationship.
Someone said FML is shutting down and joining TWI. Is this true?
this app sucks. FML
Seriously who does he think he is having his own interests which are different from what society views as cool. Me? I'm a real man. I like guns, smoking, cars, hunting, and sports. I also know that spending 50 dollars max once is a clear and obvious sign that one can afford to spend 200 a month min. Seriously. If you turn down the opportunity to live with me cause it costs too much than I don't want to see you: A) Eating out, B) Buying new things, C) buying gifts for anyone, D) putting gas in your car, E) seeing a doctor, F) having fun with others.

I'm not a doctor or anything, but im pretty sure that a few nerf guns are less expensive than maintaining an appt.
$40 for nerf guns. $200-$600 for rent.... yes I can see how this makes sense. besides the belt fed nerf guns kick ass
