Today, I asked my fiancé's daughter to use her phone so I could call mine which I'd misplaced. Busy with homework, she nodded. Only after she jumped up did I notice that she had my number listed with a humiliating nickname, and accompanied by a photo of her middle finger. FML

@65- on most phones, if you call a number that is in your contacts, it will still show that person's name/picture, even if you dialed it manually instead of going through your contacts to find the number. i'm guessing you've never had a cell phone before...

I have a stepdad too. We all act out, we have too. His kids are almost 30, and even they acted out a lot. Don't take it personally, this isn't so much about you as it is about her relationship with her parents. I won't say it will get better, but she may one day decide to get to know you better, if only for her parent's sake. Of course, if you're just not a good person - I have nothing to say to you.
