It wasn't until after the conversation ended that I remembered my siblings are all either single like I am, or incapable of having children. I am my mother's last hope of becoming a grandma, and she reminds me all the time. FML

Today, I asked my mother why she had me in the first place, as we never get along. She replied because my father wanted me. So, I called my father to ask him the same question, he said he only wanted to have me to keep my mother around, and that didn't work, so I was a waste. FML

That's horrible and your mum should be ashamed of herself. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don't think I'm terribly attractive but I have a husband who thinks I'm beautiful. Don't listen to your mother. She might actually be jealous in a way maybe.
