Today, I finished a painting I'd spent 3 weeks working on for an exhibition. When I came back from lunch, my cat was perched above it on my desk. He looked at me, then down at the painting, then jumped down onto it. He slipped and smeared the wet paint everywhere, ruining the whole thing. FML

Man, you guys are a tough crowd. I happen to like these. Sure, they're not always the pinnacle of hilarity and wit, but most of them have been at least somewhat amusing. Kind of like FML as a whole. Personally, I appreciate that the FML team is doing something to try and engage with the community. Caption contests are a good way to go about it. And if you absolutely hate them, well, just ignore them. It's not like their existence affects the rest of the website in any way.
