Haha you're dumb
I've done that once but it was the opposite. I fell asleep with my contacts still in and when I woke up I was like "its a miracle I can see, then I started singing "I once was blind, but now I see" Until my eyes started hurting and I felt my contacts in. I was very sad.
dam that sucks
I can just imagine you trying to explaine that to the paramedics.
Sounds scary to wake up and think you're blind, but then the norwegian in my saw that it was from sweden and I thought typical x)
How did you not feel the mask on your face?
When you're panicking you tend to not notice whats on your face...
I have good ear plugs.. I turn off my hearing aids.. Litterally can't hear anything within reason when they're off...
Black out curtains really help!
Atleast you were well rested...

I know that sounds really bad, but hey at least you aren't really blind!
When I wake up blind, I generally rub my eyes before I jump out of bed all panicked. It usually solves the problem.
