Today, I bought an iTunes giftcard worth $50. I tried to scratch off the little silver thing covering the code with a pair of scissors. I scratched so much that it's now unreadable. FML

If you enter an incorrect code enough times it gives you the option to "get help" which lets you type in the serial number.

write an e mail to iTunes with all the number you can see, the serial number of the card and its value, they will send you the code.

Take it back to the store you bought it from with the original reciept.... Duh... Lol And tell them you accidentally damaged it. They should be able to help you.

you can send an email to itunes with the barcode number and they'll send you back the code

I've done that before! go on itunes on the computer and enter redeem a code and do the other number on there. it'll still work. 
