Today, I bought my cats two new litter boxes in hopes that they would use them. They still prefer to pee on the clothes in my closet. FML

Try changing your cat litter. Cats aren't to fond of scented litter. I found that out the hard way. Try something with baking soda.

All cats will do this... Every one of them. Shut your closet door, keep your clothes off the floor. This is a cat thing.

You can't just buy a new litter box. You need to pick up all of the clothes, and wash them with enzyme degrading detergent (they sell it at pet stores), then you need to clean your closet with a pet cleaner. The cats have marked your closet and until you get rid of the smell they won't stop. I would also suggest a door or some other way to prevent them from going in there.
