Today, I bumped into a lady in the New Jersey airport. After I politely apologized she said, "Watch your step, asshole." FML

Manners went out of style in the early 90's. It seems you won't make it anywhere in this world if you're polite to others. People seem to take it the wrong way and see you as even more of an asshole than you really are. If you were even one in the first place.

The correct response was"**** You!!"

Move to Texas. People here are nice as can be. South California, most of New England, and Chicago tend have the most I don't know, assholes.

114? Us people are nice? People can sue you for talking to them. Where I live, strangers converse like old friends. Also, whoever posted this has such a crappy life. And people starve in india.

just cuz your nice doesnt mean theres anyone else out there that is. Sorry to be rude but honestly suck it up and take a look at this shit hole of a planet. people live for themselves and have no time to be polite and have manners. u may, i may and others may but most dont.

Typical Yankee asshole; I got neighbours from Jersey who can be the same way sometimes. And I'm NOT saying all people from up north are assholes; but of all the assholes I've run into who come from up north are all the same, hence my usage of "typical".

If you're in a crowded place, it's absolutely your obligation to watch where you're going. A quick "sorry" doesn't cut it, because these things don't just happen. She got bumped into because you didn't feel like paying attention. She had every right to yell at you for it.

Yeah. I keep telling myself to quit being polite in public. No matter what happens or who's at fault, people are still major aholes to me even when I'm polite.
