That's a dick move to complain about helping the elderly and I think it was really adorable and sweet that she had you pick a goody. If a guy wasn't complaining about it but saw the cuteness in it like I do they could totally use that to try to pick me up.

And if that sweet old lady is going to a nursing home she's probably broke trying to pay for it. Be glad to have helped and see the same adorable-ness in it that I do that she let you pick a goody. I'd rather have the goody over the cash. But then again I'm selfless not SELFISH.

YDI if you only did it because you wanted to get paid. You should do it w/o pay as she may not be very capable depending on her age. Unless of course you had an important task that needed taking care of.
