I still don't really get what an associates degree is? Do you need it as a sort of entrance to university where you get a bachelor's degree?
@ 63 see #11 response
No, you don't actually need it to get your Bachelors. Some people get it on the way to their Bachelors, but there are also multiple careers that only require an associates degree. It's just a 2 year degree, and it's usually earned at a Community College instead of a University. There are many nurse's that only have an associates. Heck, my career doesn't even need an associate's, just vocational schooling.
yet you still are, snick.
wow metalfan ur a major douche
Strange, I did post a reply, but it has gone missing. Anyway, proper conversations are fine, so long they start off as relevant. After all, the reply feature is for replying to a comment and its content, not just for getting your own comment to the top of the page.
Your dad is right. The first year, they teach you how to give ********, and the second year you learn how to make great sammiches. What else could you need to learn? jk OP, your dad is a prick. FYL
People that treat it as the Mrs. Degree make me sad :/ It's sad that people actually go to school just to meet a husband! Wth?

Your dad is an idiot. FYL. But grow up and learn to take financial responsibility for yourself.
How is any of this indicative of her not taking financial responsibility? I paid for my degree myself, but my parents still sat down with me and helped me figure out what I was doing with loans, etc. Asking someone experienced to help you is one of the smartest and most responsible things you can do.
