wow that's dumb... you dont just remove stuff with out talking about it with the family.. zero communication does not work! stuff like that is something everyone in the household needs to know. im sorry that happened :(

Can't say it enough, look into Skype and similiar options for next time, some of them MAY be cheaper. Anyone who says it definitely is cheaper is just plain naive. As for the existing bill, he made the change and did not inform you, he is both disrespectful in his lack of communication, and as he obviously has account access to make those changes himself, liable for the bill. Unfortunately, unless you are prepared to destroy the relationship with your father, you'll have to eat the bill anyway. Good luck with the girl though, I met my wife online almost nine years ago now, and we have two beautiful children. We used to talk pretty much overnight before we got together in person.

If your dad removed it, that means he is the one paying for your cell phone not you, so you obviously were running up huge phone bills by calling internationally on your plan before this. Otherwise there would have been no reason at all for him to even consider removing the plan - pay for your own phone and your own bills if you want to run up huge expenses and you won't run into problems like this
