#10 - my great-grandparents (two of them!) died when I was 22. It's not that implausible. But yeah, lying about a death in the family is the worst way to get out of work. If you need a sick day excuse, just say you got food poisoning - it's something that comes suddenly and no one asks questions.
As someone who recently had to miss work because my great grandmother really DID pass away, I am not impressed. :|
Yeah, same here. I actually had to miss work as well as my final exams last spring because my great grandmother died. It was awful :( I can't believe someone would lie about that just to play hooky for a day or two >:(
Why do people never learn. NEver play the death card when pulling a sickie. Use your imagination, something that people won't or can't argue with. For example I have used both 'I have terrible genital friction burns' and 'I have zinc poisoning' before. Brains people. Use them.
Asshole.
I agree with most posts here. Its just lame to use the death of a family member as a lie to stay at home. You do have a nice co-worker though. Credits for him/her.
dumbfuck
think buddy!!
Lol, dude, cmon, tell them you've got the flu or something. Geez
big time asshole

What a horrible lie. You should've seen this one coming though. Karma is a real bitch.
Never lie about some relative dying just to get away from something.
