I agree with #56 and (part of) #69: she has, whether on purpose or not, deprived you of a very great deal of money which you depend on. You would be more than justified in (fairly) calculating the monetary worth of what she threw out, and holding her legally responsible for reimbursing you for that loss, regardless of whether she's your mother or not. My parents don't come to my work and try to get me fired; yours have no right to throw away your livelihood either. I sympathize and wish you the best of luck.
Kkh--... my mother goes through my things all the time, to "clean up"... meaning "throw everything that's bigger than a quarter or smaller than a stapler away". Including all the jewelry I make. That's why I learned to hide them in empty Pocky boxes... When she goes on one of her cleaning sprees, I flinch every time she even looks at a pile of my papers. Something similar to this has happened to me several times. Might I suggest getting an individual lock for your study - or wherever your desk is?
either your mom really hates you, or she knows nothing about you and the kind of work you do... all it takes is a 5 minute conversation to explain to her that the drawings are your job, and for her not to touch them how old are you anyway? i still live with my parents, but i taught my mom that when i was like 16...
Horrible! I'm so sorry for you! My mom's a similar type. At least she never threw things away. But when I went on vacation, she came around and "cleaned" my house. I couldn't find a damn thing. First I called her to ask where she'd placed each single item, but that didn't get thru. I had to tell her to never touch my stuff again. She doesn't anymore.
Change your place dude - .- and dont tell your mom where you live. That will teach the bitch ...

Oh my god. That's rough... Is your mom actually delusional though? Possibly mentally challenged? Did she throw away your drawings as a child? Jesus. You definitely did not deserve this one. Condolences...
