OK, you WERE kind of dumb. (but you're not the only one!) for one, you're not going to beat a bunch of guys 1 on 1, unless you're achilles or master chief or some shit. secondly, you're not going to beat a bunch of guys ESPECIALLY, if they have weapons! ...Third, it should have occurred to you that maybe, just maybe, it was something other than a robbery? A, the lights weren't on. Who the hell robs in the dark if you can't see? B, the lights deff would be on, because they would want to get out as fast as possible, and make it look natural. I'm pretty sure you can't move fast in the dark... and it doesn't exactly look natural to have people snooping around in the dark, either! C, only an idiot robs an apartment, when there's usually less stuff of value, and it's harder to make an escape. Smart people rob neighborhood houses, a house where the people are on vacation, in an unsuspecting goody-goody Mr. Rogers rich boy neighborhood. (Disclaimer: I'm a law-abiding Christian, and no I don't rob houses). But the logic is obvious, I try to view everything through logic- I mean, I'm even a Christian through logic! It just made SENSE when I looked at the evidence... but that's not to be discussed now haha. ============================== On the other hand, your girlfriend was a dumbass. For one, she should have known if you were the assertive/aggressive/take charge kind of type, who is going to attack people who are randomly in a house. For two, they should not have been shuffling around like idiots, they should have had ONE sentry in the ground floor (with a cell phone and a text message ready), and the sentry should have texted them to STOP MOVING, GET READY, AND BE QUIET as soon as the sentry saw you walk in. They planned it really shittily... not only did it ruin the surprise, but it could often lead to injury, as it did. For three, your girlfriend should not have been closest to the door. Any idiot can figure out that in ANY surprise situation, there is at LEAST a SMALL chance that the "victim" per se, is going to freak out, be scared, or simply be so surprised that they lash out or hit whoever's closest. THUS, you should have had a GUY (preferably a fat guy who can take punishment) closest to the door!!! THAT WAY, if the "victim per se" happens to go berserk or at least lash out once, then the person will likely not be TOO badly hurt at least. =============================================== Conclusion? You are an idiot, but so are the people who planned this. If I were you, I would explain some of the reasons to your girlfriend (about why THEY were dumb), so she will stop giving you shit about breaking her jaw bone. I mean, I can 100% understand her being mad and all, but it won't make her injury any better by lashing out at you... all it will do is destroy the love, bond, fun and friendship you guys once had, by causing needless bickering and stress. Thus, explain the reasons to her, BUT ALSO APOLOGIZE PROFUSELY AND REPEATEDLY BEFORE AND AFTER, and maybe she will start to see some logic and reason in this one hell of a clusterf*ck we have going on here. =========================== am i right, or am i right?
