Poor you! My parents used to start playing Christmas Carols on Halloween, so I can sympathize. By the time Christmas came and went, I was a wreck!

Damn you christmas, stay in your own time slot, I don't like pre and post christmas stuff. Why can't we start Halloween 3 months prior?! Or any other holiday. Now if you'll excuse me I think my liver and I will rehearse for New Years.

No, they can have their fun for Christmas AFTER we scare the shit out of kids and eat our weight in candy. Don't step on Halloween, the one day I can cackle madly out the window and people will think it's normal! Or play Voltaire's music for all the neighborhood to hear while wearing my best Siouxsie Sioux eyeliner! Save it for after the sacred holiday of weirdos and sugar fiends.

I can't argue and I don't feel bad for you. Mainly bc if I had things my way I'd be doing that yr round and never take down lights or put away tree and decorations
