When I had surgery, I wasn't able to shower for a week and felt like a crusty statue. It was awful. I don't understand how your husband willingly refused to bathe. Blech!

I know how you feel! I couldn't shower because of surgery I had a few weeks ago and to avoid feeling horrid I bathed by the sink, basically sponge bathed myself because I didn't want to feel icky!

I had to do the same, #53! It still wasn't the same. It helps for the time being but taking my first shower since surgery was the best! Like I said, I don't understand how he just refuses.

I went on cruise with another person that showered only once in 8 days but didn't have to share bed. May I suggest you clean the sheets at same time. (Joking). But good luck with the shower unless dying no excuse and what do his work mates think

#36, what #22 said was they went on a cruise with someone who refused to shower for 8 days but luckily they didn't share a bed. Also suggested that OP clean the sheets with her husband. And then something about there's no excuse for not bathing unless he's dying. Theeen they asked what his work mates think. ... I think. ;P
