People who cheat always have the dumbest excuses. If you loved someone you wouldn't cheat on them, period. At least end the relationship first. I'm sorry this happened to you, OP. Being cheated on sucks.

Not -romantically- attracted to. There are many kinds of attraction. Sexual, romantic, aesthetic, platonic. He may have found this girl sexually attractive but not romantically so. That is entirely possible, as is the reverse. Sexual and romantic attraction are not mutually inclusive. You can have either without the other.
