Mrs Crabby cakes it's not " weird anime crap" it's technically a form of art. Maybe the girl will grow up to be a great manga artist. Instead try this new concept encourage your students, even if it's outside your comfort zone on traditional art. Oh and talk with her parents she's obviously got anger issues.

I don't understand why you're getting so much hate. That student shouldn't be drawing in class, she's not in art class. I don't know what you teach but that's what she should be doing, not listening is a lack of respect and intelligence.

You know, lots of people can listen to a teacher's lecture and draw at the same time. I do that all the time, partially because I can still hear every word they're saying, and also because I get the urge to draw something, even if it's something completely random and stupid.

I don't understand why everyone is hating on the teacher (Op) and the student, Just because she was drawing does not mean she isn't paying attention, I remember in high school there was one kid who sat there and read in class yet he listened to the teacher and he had the best grades in the class. Everyone has there own learning style. Oh and OP honestly anime isn't crap, remember pretty much everyone thought Van Goghs art was crap he only sold a couple paintings in his life and they were bought by his brother, yet we consider his art masterpieces. Art is art because it's a way of expressing yourself, anime is her way of expressing herself so don't be so judgmental about it.
