Today, I complained about period cramps. My boyfriend said periods can't be that bad since "girls must orgasm every time they put a tampon in." FML

I think your boyfriend needs to go back to health class and ACTUALLY PAY ATTENTION

Maybe you should be silent next time you two have sex, so he knows what really happens ;)

as a guy i can't actually ever condone kicking a guy in the balls.... but this guy deserves it. anyway he must ****** when you do it either way.

Your sex life must really suck if he thinks it's that easy.

if someone doesnt understand what a period is and how it works theyshould NEVER reproduce

That's not how this works... Your boyfriend must think he's a God in bed... If only it were that easy...

Tell him that his logic makes sense, because guys have orgasms every time they get a prostate exam, right? ;-)

If you really want to know what it can be like: For me, it's not so much a dull throb as a full on throb in the entire stomach, it cramps really bad for anything from 5-30 minutes, then goes away for a while, then comes back, and it goes on and on like this, sometimes just the first day, but more often for the first two or three days. The breasts usually get really sore, and god almighty, the *****... Period diarrhea is a thing. This is, of course, not the case for all women, as other commenters stated above. One of my friends doesn't notice anything until she has blood in her panties. Another though, she almost passes out from the pain. I have been sent home from work because of it, but I've never had it as bad as my other friend. And this shit can't always be avoided for us. I tried conraceptives since it helps for some women, but it didn't do jack shit for me. Pain killers don't always help either, and they make me dizzy and nauseous, and I can't think straight if I take one pill too many. I've tried working out too, to no avail. It just feels slightly better, and once I stop the pain gets ten times worse, as if to make up for the slight reprieve. At least you can try to avoid the pain by wearing a jockstrap.
