Today, I confessed my feelings to the guy I've had the biggest crush on. He spent the next ten minutes calling me delusional, said that I know nothing about him, and laughed that "this isn't Twilight, for fuck's sake". All he did when I started crying was pat me on the head and leave. FML

I'm going to agree that this guy you liked was a bit of a jerk. He could have declined in a much more polite way. Honestly though, he has a point. I personally went through being harassed and pretty much stalked by a girl who didn't know me or really like me for who I was. But still she didn't get the hint that I wasn't interested and only really left me alone when I yelled at her when I reached my breaking point. You're probably a young girl who is going through what everyone goes through, but just because you feel a certain way about someone or for someone doesn't mean those feelings are justified. Hence, why you had to write this fml in the first place. Just take this as a learning experience OP. You may feel like shit now but you'll be happier in the long run.
