Today, I confessed my feelings to the guy I've had the biggest crush on. He spent the next ten minutes calling me delusional, said that I know nothing about him, and laughed that "this isn't Twilight, for fuck's sake". All he did when I started crying was pat me on the head and leave. FML

I will probably get down voted for saying this. Yes, he is an asshole. But, you obviously did not know him very well or you would have known that he was a horrible person. Next time try getting to know a guy and becoming friends with him so that you actually know him, before confessing your love. Having a crush on a guy based on the fact that he is hot usually leads to a bad and unsatisfying ending. It is now time, for you to look at your guy friends and see if you have friend-zoned any of them that might actually be perfect for you. Don't be shallow and go after a guy based on his looks, go after a guy because he is the full package and has a great personality.
