don't worry I'm a stright A 8th grade student and still can't answer the questions they are WAY past a 5th grade level
I'm a high school sophomore and I can answer almost every question on there. Its really not that difficult, but they choose the most useless and inane information.
That show is rigged. they asked a question about Harper Lee's "To Kill A Mockingbird" and I just read 2 days ago in English. I'm a high school freshman.
Haha me too we just finished reading it last week. I have a 4.0, am in advanced classes, and still haven't learned half the stuff they ask about on that show. Or if I have learned it I can't remember it at all. I'm good with that though, I can do well on Jeopardy! and that's all that really matters anyway.
Judging by your grammar, I'm not surprised.
Grammar, bad
Most of those questions don't even enter or go near the 5th grade curriculum (at least for the TX curriculum they don't...) Most of them are just random dumb butt questions that no teacher will bother to teach you... (or expect you to remember)
#15 you are also a moron.
Actually those questions have NOTHING to do with intelligence. They're just stuff learned in school, but completely pointless and useless,so most adults tend to forget it.Actually the only ones who remember it are teachers, who simply teach it to kids and therefore have to know it.In my opinion, the entire show is a joke.
stupid!

The questions on that show don't indicate intelligence. Almost all of the things they ask are about pointless knowledge that nobody truly learns in school. What they test people with is as pointless as a crossword puzzles. Remember, there's a difference between being smart and knowing things.
That show is SO beyond 5th grade. I was watching an episode my junior year of high school, and they asked a question that I had learned less than two weeks prior. And of course the fake 5th grader knew it. Bullshit!
